HIP CITIZEN PRESENTS…
A Benefit for Yoga for Recovery & Addiction

at Rasa Center for Yoga and Wellness

Your participation in this event will assist in providing an entire 12 week yoga recovery program to at least 10 Southern Oregon participants committed to their path of recovery. (Printable Flyer)

Yoga Recovery Fundraiser

with Les Leventhal                                                                                                                                 10am-12pm

This senior yoga teacher from San Francisco will explore different behavior patterns and how distractions such as drugs, alcohol, food, smoking, sex and shopping separate us from that true uncluttered nature of ourselves.  Discussion and movement through a sequence of poses will be the doorway through which we practice incorporating yoga into our recovery on and off the mat.

$40, A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit Ontrack & Yoga for Recovery, both offering addiction recovery programs to the Southern Oregon community.

Recovery Forum & Practice
Featuring Honoree Speaker Dr. Daryll Inaba & the recovery community                            12:30-3pm

Light appetizers and refreshments will be provided

This special forum with Dr. Darryl Inaba, Clinical Manager at Genesis, discusses the science and treatment of substance abuse with an emphasis on alternative and complementary treatments such as the Yoga for Recovery program.

Afterward, experience a sample of Yoga for Recovery's practice under their 12-week curriculum.  We invite the recovery community, practitioners and service providers, friends and family to partake in this special event.
